“I am based in Lagos but decided to do my wedding in Port Harcourt. To ensure everything go seamlessly I hired a wedding planner from here. A month after conclusion of prices, this lady came back with cost changes citing some excuses, my husband accommodated . . .I am based in Lagos but decided to do my wedding in Port Harcourt. A month after conclusion of prices, this lady came back with cost changes citing some excuses, my husband accommodated this to ensure she has no excuses for not delivery. We made 70% and 30% all within the specified timelines; meaning 100% of the wedding cost was paid to her 2 weeks before the event. Upon arrivàl in Port Harcourt, it was shocking to see that the hall she booked was way bigger than our number hence the need to do démarcations so the hall is not looking scanty, we were also told that we will be printing flexes ourselves as it was not part of the decoration cost, even the wood to put the flexes will handled by us. The make up artist was not informed of the extra wedding rehearsal makeup that was paid for extra, and after discussions with the artist even the full payment made for the make up was not paid to her. Throughout the wedding ceremony, the wedding planner did not check on the bride, guest were left standing outside for hours despite us paying for ushers and bouncers due to poor access control handled by the wedding planner. The access control link sent to the planner months before the wedding was never shared to the users or bouncers. I wish I can add screenshot or voice recordings of the food. It was horrible. She served my guest old stale food, not enough drink was shared despite paying additional money when she claimed things were on the hike. For my cake, we agreed on a 3 tier cake with the base as the main cake, first it was 150k then she increased it to 180k. With only rhe base being the cake. Instead she made the small part of the tier the cake and the other part were cartons. The whole hall for the photobooth was dark so guests couldn't even use it. Event was for 2pm and by 3pm no single music was being played and she was nowhere to be found as a planner. I had my worst experience working with Mrs Adeleke of CEM ( Chrystal Event Management). She has no idea on planning an event and should definitely not be on a platform as this. I did not get value for my money, ny guest were poorly treated, food was a disgrace, agreed upon number and quality of drinks was not provided. She is a fraud that masquerade as a planner and should be avoided. Unfortunately, my desire was to seek legal action against her but on second thought, I'd rather give my review and put this in the past.”
